Irresistibly-Sensual Raw Chocolate Fudge

In the past few weeks, with Valentine’s Day that just passed, I’ve been swamped in chocolate making and raw chocolate workshops. Yummmm… if there was any work I’d have too much of, it would definitely be this (I’m already salivating while typing this lol).

You probably know by now how passionate I am about learning and sharing as much as possible the incredible history and wonderful health benefits of the best food on earth – chocolate.

One of the richest foods in magnesium, iron, loaded with more anti-oxidants than wild blueberries and green tea; packed with bliss and love chemicals like anandamide, serotonin, and phenylethylamines  – chocolate is a really potent superfood that truly nourishes your body and soul.

Because a lot of its nutrients are heat-sensitive, it has to be consumed ideally in its raw form to reap all its benefits – unlike most chocolate bars available on store shelves , where the chocolate has been roasted, processed, heated, mixed with a lot of sugar, dairy, etc.

But it doesn’t have to be that way! Because now, you can now easily make delicious raw chocolate treats in your own home! It’s easy, fun, and quicker than going to the store to get a chocolate bar!

Plus, you have full control of all the ingredients you put in.

One of the favourites in our household is chocolate fudge – when I made it the first time we couldn’t believe how delicious and sexy it actually tasted.

So in this new post I wanted to share with you the recipe I made, with some pictures of the fudge I made that might make your mouth water…You’ve been warned.

This fudge is pure sensual chocolatey goodness, not overwhelmingly sweet and extremely satisfying. It softens at room temperature, so serve it straight out of the freezer, and chill the leftovers in the fridge as soon as possible... if there are any left!

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Beat coconut oil with peanut butter, using an electric mixer ideally. If you don't have one, whisk them vigorously (that's what I did!) - you might need a muscular arm to help out. 😉
  2. Add cacao powder, honey, and sea salt. Mix well until you have a smooth consistency.
  3. Add in chopped nuts and stir.
  4. Line up square pan with parchment paper and pour in mixture. Even it out and freeze until solid, about 40-50 minutes. Slice into small squares - and dive right in! 🙂
